On a scale
Stress has been on my mind lately. Lisa and I published a whole episode of Should We about stress on Sunday, I published a post about chosen stress the other week, and it’s just been an intense time at work.
Today, a coworker asked me how stressed out I was on a scale from 1-10, and I found that so helpful. I concluded that today was a 5/10, but yesterday was an 8/10, and Friday was a 10/10. Identifying the trendline, I felt a boost: perhaps I’m on the other side of a hill, but it just hasn’t sunk in yet. I’m sinking into that possibility now.
